Puerto del Rosario Town Council pays tribute to our history, our roots and our faith.
Our float represents the church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, a symbol of our capital and witness to some very special moments.
At its doors, the Virgen de la Peña, Patron Saint of Fuerteventura, was welcomed by our people in 1954, 1961 and 1965.
Today, many years on, it is we who make the journey to her sanctuary, to offer her the best of our land and keep our tradition alive.
From the Virgen del Rosario to the Virgen de la Peña, one people and one faith.
