AnimArte opens “Living Heritage: Fuerteventura through the Urban Sketchers” at the Casa de la Cultura in Puerto del Rosario
The AnimArte Sociocultural Association, together with Urban Sketchers Fuerteventura, opens the exhibition “Living Heritage: Fuerteventura through the Urban Sketchers” this evening, Tuesday 8 September, at 7.00pm, at the Casa de la Cultura in Puerto del Rosario (Calle Ramiro de Maeztu, 2).
The exhibition brings together a selection of works created during the Urban Sketchers gatherings held as part of the Living Heritage project, under the motto “What we see, what we are, what we draw”.
Taking part in the exhibition are artists Alessandro Angeli, Alfonso S. Pachilín, Daura Flores, Ewa Frydlewicz, Fernando López Zuluaga, Giusy Caruso, Helena Segura Alemany (Segaley), Luciano Colucci, Luis Ignacio Sanz, María del Mar López, Marianna Criniti, Maurizio Bini, Rosi Cruz Santana, Seto Corzo and Verónica Silva Acosta.
The project is funded by the Cabildo de Fuerteventura and supported by Puerto del Rosario Town Council through its Department of Culture, together with the Fuerteventura Biosphere Reserve.
AnimArte would like to thank Tony Gallardo, manager of the Fuerteventura Biosphere Reserve, historian Aidan Woodward, and Seto Corzo, Patricia Asunçao, Carmen Muruve and Alessandro Pugiotto, as well as the entire AnimArte collective, who continue to work together to ensure the project’s successful delivery.
The exhibition can be visited until 8 October, Monday to Friday, from 10.00am to 1.00pm and from 5.00pm to 8.00pm.
