The works, led by the Department of Public Works, include the renovation of the centre’s indoor and outdoor spaces
Pájara Town Council, through the Department of Public Works headed by Alexis Alonso, carried out painting works at the Morro Jable Senior Citizens’ Centre with the aim of improving the condition and appearance of these municipal facilities.
The works included painting both the indoor and outdoor areas of the centre, refreshing the various rooms and communal areas regularly used by visitors.
The Councillor for Public Works, Alexis Alonso, highlighted that “we have worked on both the inside and outside of the centre to improve its condition and provide a better-kept space for the people who use these facilities. We will continue to address the needs of municipal buildings in order to keep them in the best possible condition”.
Meanwhile, the Councillor for Senior Citizens, Raquel Acosta, noted that “municipal centres are spaces for meeting and taking part in community life, so it is important that they have facilities that are suitable and pleasant for those who use them”.
The Mayor of Pájara, Alejandro Jorge, stressed that “these works are part of the ongoing efforts we are making to gradually improve public spaces across the municipality. Our commitment is to keep working on municipal buildings and to address the needs identified in each of them”.
The Town Council will continue carrying out maintenance and improvement works at various public spaces in Pájara, with the aim of properly maintaining facilities and providing residents with more functional, well-kept amenities.
