The space will be located at the Ciudad Deportiva in Gran Tarajal and will include security, toilets, showers and a shaded area
The Cabildo de Fuerteventura, through its Department of Culture, and Tuineje Town Council have set up a rest area for this year’s Arena Negra festival, allowing attendees to enjoy the whole weekend without having to travel back and forth.
The space will be located at the Ciudad Deportiva in Gran Tarajal, in the area known as El Palmeral, and will include security, toilets, showers and a shaded area. Minors must be accompanied by an adult to access the site.
Pitches can be booked via the Department of Culture’s website, www.culturafuerteventura.es, by paying a refundable deposit of €20, which will be returned at the end of the event.
The new service responds to demand from festival-goers wishing to enjoy the event throughout the whole weekend. With this initiative, the Cabildo aims to make attendees’ stay easier and allow them to experience Arena Negra more comfortably, turning Gran Tarajal into a meeting point for one of Fuerteventura’s biggest music events.
The Arena Negra Festival will once again bring together national and international artists in Gran Tarajal over two days of live music. On Friday 6 November, Juan Magán, Rosana, Álvaro de Luna and Merche will perform, while Saturday 7 November will see Luis Fonsi, Delaossa, Los Secretos and Lauta take to the stage.
The programme will be rounded off by Arena Negra de Día, featuring five musical acts on Saturday: Andrea Rodríguez y la Banda del Trópico, Kilombo Improvisado, NIA, ContraVentura and Timbeque.
The Arena Negra Festival is organised by the Department of Culture of the Cabildo de Fuerteventura, in collaboration with the Government of the Canary Islands, Tuineje Town Council, Cajasiete and the Asociación La Gavia.
