New success of registration in the Guisguey to La Caldereta Hiking Route
The Antigua se Mueve hiking program fills its places in each proposed route.
– More than thirty hikers registered in the route proposed by the Antigua se Mueve program that runs this Saturday, July 26, along the trail from Guisguey to La Caldereta.
– Each Antigua se Mueve Route opens its registration period fifteen days before, being completely free and giving preference to residents registered in the municipality.
– The Town Hall provides transportation from Antigua, a guide who explains details and history of each place and a snack as a finishing touch to the meeting of the walkers.
The Antigua City Council from the departments of Youth and Sports, coordinated respectively by the councilors Pedro Armas and Samuel Torres, organizes this hiking activity, Antigua moves, proposing a plan of healthy walks of varying difficulty and for all ages, facilitating travel from Antigua, providing a team of guides explaining each step on the way, offering a final lunch to regain strength, explains the mayor, Matias Peña.
The following route is proposed this Saturday, July 26, from Guisguey to La Caldereta in a ten-kilometer hike, whose geography presents a medium difficulty to be covered in approximately four hours of duration.
Registration, completely free of charge, for each proposed route is always open fifteen days in advance, and can be submitted by registering at the Antigua Town Hall, the Mayor’s Office in Caleta de Fuste or online, giving preference to those registered in the municipality.
Antigua se Mueve is a program of a total of seven walks, being the following proposals, in September from Antigua to Agua de Bueyes and in October from Pájara to Cardón.
