Cultural Promotion in Antigua is supported with a 45,000 euro grant for Associations.
– The deadline for grant applications is July 29, inclusive, of this year.
– The objective is to promote activities related to exhibitions, musical editions, recording of short films, workshops or cultural schools, events, trips and any activity aimed at promoting creativity and neighborhood participation.
The City Council of Antigua from the Department of Culture recalls that after the publication this week in the BOP Las Palmas No. 84, the Call for Grants aimed at socio-cultural associations of the Municipality of Antigua, 2025, is open the deadline for submission of applications until July 29, inclusive, by Register of Entry.
The City Council from the Department of Culture, says the area councilman, Jonathan Peña, 45,000 euros to support activities that cultural associations, neighborhood groups, groups, groups or Ampas made in the municipality.
And the councilman adds, training activities, artistic activities, exhibitions, events, trips, plays, concerts, in short, we want to promote cultural activity in every town and locality of the Municipality, being this economic support a direct way to support all proposals.
We are or should be culture, both to enjoy it and to promote proposals, says the mayor of Antigua, Matias Peña, who congratulates the work being done in this regard by the team of the council, not only with this grant but also with numerous events organized, maintaining a Municipal School of Music, a cycle of oral storytelling, theater and workshops in cultural centers, as well as concerts and literary events.
The Bases, Requirements and Application Form for this Call for Applications may be consulted on the official website and at the aforementioned offices, as well as at the Municipal Library of Antigua or the cultural centers of Agua de Bueyes, Valles de Ortega, Casillas de Morales, Triquivijate and Caleta de Fuste. Applications must be submitted through the Entry Register at the Antigua Town Hall, Mayor’s Office in Caleta de Fuste or through the electronic site at www.ayto-antigua.es.
