The Summer Cultural Camps are followed by numerous activities and workshops for children.
– The cultural centers intensify their programming with workshops, classes and games for children in every town.
– On Monday, August 4 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Children’s Reading Workshop at the Municipal Library of Antigua for ages 6 to 10 years old.
This Friday, August 1, the Mayor of Antigua, Matías Peña and the Councilman of Culture, Jonathan Peña, participated in the closing party of the Summer Cultural Camp in Antigua, in which thirty children have participated and enjoyed choreographies, rhythmic percussion in the square, and games related to theater or staging and even mixing sounds in the best style of a DJ.
The Summer Cultural Camps have been a success in terms of enrollment and enjoyment of the participants, says the councilman, Jonathan Peña, whose inertia of activities and fun will continue in the activities and games scheduled in the cultural centers and the Municipal Library of Antigua.
Among some of the proposed activities, in Caleta de Fuste the little ones from 5 years old will star on August 8, an afternoon Disco Kids from 17:30 hours, on August 13 from 18:30 hours Manualidades Mi animal Marino, for those who have 15 or more years on August 21 from 18:30 hours, Creativity to Canvas, and for the little ones from 2 to 4 years on August 26 can enjoy from 17:30 hours of an afternoon Musicalized Stories.
At the Municipal Library of Antigua, next Monday, August 4 from 10:00 am, Children’s Readings for ages 6 to 10 years old, on August 6, Stories to tell, on Friday, August 8, Crafts Workshop, on Monday, August 11 and Wednesday, August 13, fun English Days, on August 18, a creative Art Workshop and on August 25, Traditional Games.
Each Cultural Center in each town offers an intense and diverse cultural activity, with all workshops, games and services free of charge, reminds Councilman Jonathan Peña.
