Primary schools and elementary schools celebrate a day of stellar coexistence at La Guirra Beach
– One hundred students from 6th grade of primary school participate in the Day of Coexistence on the beach of La Guirra in Caleta de Fuste.
– The event is part of the educational project of the centers of the Antigua school district, Estela.
The Mayor, Matías Peña and the Councilor for Education, América Soto Betancor, have welcomed the one hundred students of 6th grade of primary school, who this Friday morning, May 16, have participated in the Day of Coexistence held at the CEIP El Castillo and the beach of La Guirra in Caleta de Fuste.
The conference is part of the Estela project that this year has proposed several activities in which the centers Francisca Pérez in Triquivijate, Alcaldesa Amparo Torres in Betancuria, Gumersindo Martel in Valles de Santa Inés, as well as the Valles de Ortega, Ampuyenta, CEIP El Castillo and the CEO of Antigua have participated and carried out together.
Among the projects proposed by the Estela project, explains the District coordinator, Marta L. Torrent, which have had the involvement of the educational community of each of the centers, being all activities always carried out in groups, meetings and coexistence, are Our Star Tree during last Christmas, Carnavaleando with Estela during the month of February, the project also common development of a book of Canarian recipes and this Friday the Day of Coexistence on the beach of El Castillo.
