The City Council of Pájara, through the Department of Sports, informs that the Saladar de Jandía Wrestling Club has been selected to dispute the first wrestling match outside the Canary Islands, to be held in Madrid. This confrontation corresponds to the 20th day of the Disa League Tournament Government of the Canary Islands.
Both the Mayor of Pájara, Alejandro Jorge, and the Councilor for Sports, José Benito Alonso, will accompany the club in this event. This competition, which will be historic for the Canarian sport, will be held in the Plaza de Callao. In it, the Majorero club will face the Club de Lucha Candelaria. It will take place on May 17.
