The initiative kicks off with a technical workshop focused on sustainability and climate change
The Cabildo of Fuerteventura, through the Department of Environment directed by Carlos Rodriguez, launches its program of conferences, seminars and environmental courses 2025. An initiative that aims to strengthen the training and capacity building of the various social actors involved in the management of natural areas, biodiversity conservation and improvement against climate change, promoting sustainability in the island.
As a first training action, next April 22, from 09:00 to 13:00 hours, at the Palacio de Formación y Congresos de Fuerteventura, will be held the I Jornada Técnica Medioambiental de Fuerteventura, a meeting that will bring together institutions, professionals and experts to discuss and build key strategies on sustainability, circular economy and climate change.
This forum for work and reflection is conceived as a meeting point for the sector, which will promote collaboration and the exchange of ideas among the different agents involved in the environmental field.
The contributions that emerge during this day will serve as a basis for the preparation of the Atlantic Environmental Conference – CAMA 2025, scheduled for June 5, 6 and 7, 2025.
