The initiative forms part of the agreement with Clúster Canarias Excelencia Tecnológica to bring this tool closer to the public
The Cabildo de Fuerteventura, through its New Technologies department, is launching a new training block as part of its ‘FuerteventurIA. Inteligencia Artificial para Todos’ project, developed in partnership with Clúster Canarias Excelencia Tecnológica.
Having already delivered artificial intelligence training to public administration staff, SMEs and entrepreneurs, ‘FuerteventurIA. Inteligencia Artificial para Todos’ is now launching a fully online, free programme designed by and for teachers. The aim is to provide practical, applicable tools to help bring innovation into the classroom, save time preparing lessons and guide pupils towards the responsible use of technology.
The programme runs throughout November and consists of an inspirational session, along with two hands-on training sessions: one on designing teaching materials with AI and another on the responsible and ethical use of AI.

Councillor Carmen Alonso points out that “artificial intelligence is already part of many of the tools we use in our daily lives, and that’s why we are launching a series of online sessions so that teachers can incorporate them into their work, from creating teaching resources to showing students how to use AI safely and critically”.
The initiative has been launched by the Cabildo de Fuerteventura, through the Department of New Technologies, as part of the agreement with Clúster Canarias Excelencia Tecnológica, with funding from the FDCAN (Canary Islands Development Fund).
