Betancuria transfers to Security and Emergencies the abandonment of the ravines of the Municipality.

The Mayor of Betancuria, Enrique Cerdeña Méndez, has forwarded a report received from the Local Police of the Municipality to the Security and Emergency services both insular and regional. The aforementioned report highlights, once again, the obstruction of several sections in different ravines of the municipality, caused by neglect in its cleaning and maintenance.

In addition, this fact is not new, and has already been transferred on several occasions, and at the request of several neighbors, both the Insular Water Council, and the Departments of Environment and Safety and Emergencies of the Cabildo Insular before the obvious risk in case of torrential rains.

On this occasion, it is also transferred to the Councilor for Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands, Manuel Miranda, for his knowledge and appropriate preventive actions.
