The Cabildo de Fuerteventura, through its Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, is launching a new reduced-price fruit tree sale at the Pozo Negro Experimental Farm. Those interested can request an appointment from Wednesday, 21 October, at 8.00am, via https://citaprevia.cabildofuer.es/citaprevia/cabildofuerteventura
The sale will take place from 26 October to 13 November at the Pozo Negro Experimental Farm, for those who have booked an appointment in advance. Further information is available on 928 878 625 (Pozo Negro Experimental Farm), for enquiries only.
Trees will be chosen in person and will depend on stock available at the time of the appointment. A maximum of 20 olive trees per appointment may be obtained, along with a combined maximum of 10 units of other species, subject to availability.
This initiative is aimed at the general public to promote local agriculture and the beautification of the majorero landscape. All the trees on sale have been propagated at the Pozo Negro Experimental Farm.
