Activities include courses in mobile photography, emotional intelligence, Canva and public speaking to improve the skills of the municipality’s citizens.

The City Council of Pájara, through the Department of Local Development, Training and Employment, led by Councilwoman Lucia Darriba, announces the launch of a new series of training courses for this summer. The offer includes four online courses and one classroom course, designed to improve the professional and personal skills of the citizens of the municipality.

The councilor stresses the importance of this initiative. “Our goal is to offer tools that facilitate the improvement of skills and employability of our neighbors,” she says. She also adds that “we have designed a varied program that adapts to the current needs of the labor market and also allows the flexibility of online training”.

The online program will begin on June 16 with the “Photography with cell phones” course, a 30-hour workshop that will run until June 30, teaching participants how to capture stunning images with their devices. This will be followed on June 30 by the “Emotional Intelligence” course, a 50-hour program that will end on July 20, focused on managing emotions and improving interpersonal relationships.

In addition, for those with an interest in design, the 30-hour course “How to use Canva and be creative” will be held from June 23 to July 7, offering the keys to master this popular tool. Finally, on July 7 will start “The value of oneself”, a 50-hour intensive that will last until July 28, dedicated to self-knowledge and the reinforcement of personal confidence.

On the other hand, an essential face-to-face course for the development of communication skills “How to speak in public” has been scheduled. With a duration of 8 hours, this intensive workshop will be held on July 9 and 10, providing the necessary techniques for effective communication and overcoming stage fright.
