In addition, he highlights the commitment of the City Council with the promotion of popular culture. “We have worked to offer a diverse program, designed for all audiences and rooted in the identity of Cofete. We invite citizens to join us and enjoy the festivities in a unique place”.

Also, the councilman wanted to thank the festival committee “for their commitment, dedication and effort to make possible the celebration of these festivities so significant for our town”.

Throughout the weekend there will be a varied program that will include popular games, snacks, canary ball tournament, podenco race, clay pigeon shooting, verbenas, pilgrimage, among other activities.

The night of Saturday 14 at 24:00 hours will be marked by the traditional bonfire of San Juan and the fireworks display in honor of the patron saint.

On Sunday 15, at 13:30 hours, the mass and subsequent procession in honor of San Juan will be held, accompanied by the Municipal Band, thus closing a weekend full of tradition and neighborhood participation.
