This initiative demonstrates the City Council’s commitment to the creation of new public spaces,” he said.
“We have been talking about this project for many years and, with the step taken today in the plenary, it will go out to tender. Working steadily, we will continue to make steady progress in the improvement of each locality,” remarked the mayor.
The project not only represents a commitment to urban modernization, but also responds to the needs of the population, which until now did not have adequate infrastructure for study, training or the celebration of cultural, musical and social events. In addition, the construction of the new parking lot will significantly improve mobility and access to the town center, facilitating the daily life of both residents and visitors to the area.
