The Environment Department crew carries out cleaning, clearing and access improvement tasks to ensure safety during the local festivities.

The City Council of Pájara, through the Department of Environment, culminates a comprehensive action of conditioning the path of the Montaña del Cardón, on the occasion of the upcoming celebration of the Romería de las Fiestas del Tanquito.

The work carried out included not only the cleaning of the trail, but also the clearing of vegetation and the improvement of the accesses, in order to facilitate safe and comfortable transit for the attendees. In addition, waste was removed, as part of the municipal commitment to the care and conservation of the environment.

The Councilor for the Environment, Ángeles Acosta, stresses the importance of these actions for the enjoyment of the local festivities. “We want the celebrations to take place in a safe, clean and respected environment for everyone. These actions are part of our responsibility to protect and value our natural heritage,” she says.

For his part, the mayor of Pájara, Alejandro Jorge, appreciates the work done by the crew of the Environment area and reaffirms the commitment of the consistory with the welfare of citizens and the protection of natural space. “We invite everyone to enjoy the Tanquito festivities with responsibility,” he says.

The City Council will continue to strengthen its environmental awareness efforts, promoting good practices among neighbors and visitors to the municipality and reminding them of the importance of preserving the natural environment of the municipality.
