The City Council of Puerto del Rosario, through the area of Parks and Gardens, has begun this week the work of recovery of the landscaped area of the slope of Risco Prieto, an emblematic space that returns to value as part of the plan of beautification and improvement of green areas of the municipality.
These works, carried out by the City Council Gardens team, contemplate a specialized intervention in vertical works, given the topographic characteristics of the slope. The work includes the cleaning of the surface, replacement of plant species adapted to the environment, and aesthetic and functional stabilization of the land to provide a more friendly and visually attractive space for both neighbors and visitors.
The mayor of Puerto del Rosario,David de Vera, wanted to highlight this action pointing out that “the improvement of green spaces is a priority for this government group. Recovering places like the slope of Risco Prieto is not only a landscape intervention, but also a gesture of commitment to the quality of life of citizens and the image of the municipality”.
For her part, the Councilor for Parks and Gardens,Erica González, has expressly thanked the work of the staff involved in this project: “this type of action requires specialized technical preparation. Therefore, it is only fair to recognize the effort and professionalism of the Gardens team, whose dedication makes it possible for complex areas like this one to be successfully recovered”.
This intervention is part of a broader action plan that includes the comprehensive improvement of different green spaces in different neighborhoods of the municipality, betting on a more sustainable, accessible and cared urban environment.
