With its presence, the municipality promotes the quality of local products and the efforts of its producers.
The City Council of Pájara inaugurated this Friday, April 4, its stand at the Agricultural, Livestock and Fisheries Fair Feaga 2025, a key event for the promotion and development of the primary sector on the island. The fair, held at the Experimental Farm of Pozo Negro, in the municipality of Antigua, will be open until Sunday, April 6.
At the inauguration, several members of the municipal corporation were present, among them the mayor of Pájara, Alejandro Jorge, and the councilman of the Primary Sector, José Manuel Díaz.
The councilman of Primary Sector, José Manuel Díaz, said that “from the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries we want to value the daily work of those who keep alive our traditions and ensure fresh and quality products. Betting on the local product is to strengthen our economy, take care of our territory and support a sustainable model”. He also stressed that “we continue to support and consume what is ours to ensure the future of the primary sector and our community”.
For his part, the mayor of Pájara, Alejandro Jorge, stressed the commitment that the municipality has with local producers. “The stand of Pájara is a reflection of the continuous effort of our people, who work with dedication to bring the best of our countryside and sea to consumers.” In addition, he noted that “this event is a platform to strengthen ties and strengthen our identity as a municipality.”
In this new edition, Pájara’s stand has been designed to highlight the richness and variety of local products. This space aims to highlight the effort and dedication of farmers, ranchers and fishermen of the municipality.
