The City Council of Puerto del Rosario, through its Department of Education, continues to move forward in its commitment to improving the school infrastructure of the municipality. On this occasion, it has carried out a set of actions aimed at CEIP Francisco Navarro Artiles, which will optimize its facilities and create a more comfortable, safe and functional environment for the daily development of educational activity.
Among the improvements is the construction of a new storage area for sports equipment, which will allow for better organization and conservation of the resources used in physical education classes. In addition, air conditioning units have been installed in the computer room, providing a more comfortable and suitable environment for learning in this key area of the school curriculum.
Another highlight was the installation of shutters on the main façade of the building, a solution that will improve the ventilation of the classrooms in complete safety, facilitating the use of the windows.
The mayor of Puerto del Rosario, David de Vera, has positively assessed these improvements, noting that “every action we promote in the schools of the municipality reflects our willingness to invest in the present and future of our children. Education is a priority, and providing schools with safe, modern and adapted facilities is a responsibility that we firmly assume.”
For her part, the Councilor for Education, Tacoremi Gutiérrez, stressed, “these works not only respond to practical needs of the center, but represent a further step in the comprehensive improvement of our educational spaces. We are working so that every girl and boy in Puerto del Rosario can learn in an environment that favors their development, well-being and daily motivation.”
