Antigua opens the application period for grants for non-profit associations and social entities.
– The call for the Grant can be consulted from this Friday 16 in the BOP Las Palmas No. 59 and can be consulted at the electronic headquarters of the City Council of Antigua or in the National Database of Subsidies.
– The payment of the grants awarded, up to 10,000 euros, will be made in a single payment to the applicant associations and social entities.
– Applications must be submitted through the Electronic Office Entry Register www.ayto-antigua.es up to June 16, inclusive.
The Antigua City Council from the Department of Social Services maintains an item of 80,000 euros to subsidize operating expenses, social projects or workshops organized in the municipality by associations and non-profit organizations, explains the mayor, Matias Peña, reinforcing with their work municipal services aimed at public attention, social support, integration and support to communities, families or people in vulnerable situations.
The City Council of Antigua pays 100% of the grant at once, in order to facilitate the management and implementation of projects to associations and social entities with headquarters or provision of services in the municipality, details the councilor of Social Services, America Soto Betancor, covering up to a maximum of 10,000 euros of the expenses listed in the application.
This Friday, May 16, the BOP Las Palmas, No. 59, publishes the Bases and link to consult the terms and criteria of the 2025 Call for Grants in favor of Non-Profit Associations and Social Entities, whose deadline for submission of applications ends on June 16, inclusive.
The subsidy is intended to defray the costs of prevention campaigns, training or support in areas of action from health, childhood, women, addictions, senior citizens or social emergency, among other activities developed for the benefit of the residents of the Municipality, prioritizing those projects aimed at families, children and adolescents, especially in situations of risk or social inequality.
