The crews carry out cleaning tasks in El Cotillo to receive thousands of visitors in the best conditions.

El Cotillo will receive this weekend thousands of people attending the festival Fuerteventura En Música (FEM 2025), one of the most anticipated events on the island organized by the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, through the Department of Culture, with the collaboration, and in this edition also co-financing of the City of La Oliva, as well as the cooperation of the different areas of the island Corporation.

Aware of its importance, the Works and Machinery Service of the Cabildo has joined the preparatory actions in collaboration with other services of the Cabildo and the City Council of La Oliva.

In this sense, the crews of ‘Fuerteventura, beautiful by nature’ are working on the thorough cleaning and conditioning of the area, especially around the beach of La Concha where the main stage is located.

The president of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, Lola Garcia, has highlighted the coordination between the different areas of the Cabildo and the City Council to maintain the environment in perfect condition, “because we are clear that the use and enjoyment of space always has to be in constant balance with environmental respect and without leaving a trace”.

“It is important to take care of our natural environment and our emblematic landscapes, while at the same time we have the responsibility to make their enjoyment compatible with enriching activities such as the FEM,” says Vice President and Councilor for Works and Machinery, Blas Acosta.

Therefore, to the logistics of a music festival, the Cabildo of Fuerteventura incorporates other actions such as the one developed these days by the crews to maintain the integrity of the environment and ensure their enjoyment in the best conditions.
