The Environment and Beaches Departments are coordinating to leave the beach in perfect condition after filming is completed
The City Council of Pájara, through the Departments of Environment and Beaches, has carried out cleaning work on the beach of El Matorral after the filming of the series ‘La Reina del Flow’. During the early morning and the morning of Thursday, April 3, workers from the departments of Environment and Beaches have worked intensively to return the beach to its optimal conditions.
The celebration of the filming of ‘La Reina del Flow’ has been a success for the municipality of Pájara and the island of Fuerteventura. More than 12,000 people visited the beach of El Matorral to witness the filming of the last episode of the third season of this successful series, which has millions of views worldwide.
After the completion of the filming and the assembly of the stage, one of the commitments of the municipal government of Pájara was to leave the area in perfect condition once the activity was concluded.
The Councilor for the Environment, Ángeles Acosta, stresses the importance of coordinating the different municipal services to achieve an efficient response in record time. “To hold an activity one day and the next day have everything clean is a work that we must recognize all the operators who have participated in this action,” she stresses.
For his part, the councilman for Beaches, Raimundo Dacosta, considers it essential that the environment and these beaches are kept in perfect condition, regardless of the activities or events that take place. “The filming of ‘La Reina del Flow’ has been a success not only in terms of participation, but also in terms of organization and subsequent cleanup,” he says.
These types of activities not only benefit the local economy, but also reinforce the council’s commitment to sustainability and quality in the care of the municipality’s natural environments.
