The City Council of Tuineje, through its Environment Area, organizes a Neighborhood Assembly to initiate the work of recovery of natural areas in the municipality. The meeting will take place on Thursday, April 10 from 18:00 hours in the House of Culture of Gran Tarajal and seeks to encourage the involvement of citizens in the protection of the environment.
This initiative responds to the City Council’s commitment to sustainability and the improvement of natural spaces, promoting coordinated actions with the community to ensure their preservation and care.
The Councilor for the Environment, Evelyn Ávila, stressed the importance of neighborhood participation in this project: “The recovery of our natural areas is not only a task of the City Council, but a collective effort in which we want to count on the involvement of the residents of Tuineje. Their opinion is key to define the most effective and sustainable strategies and from the Department of the Environment we work continuously in favor of the different areas of the municipality”.
For her part, the mayor of Tuineje, Candelaria Umpiérrez, stressed the commitment of the council with the environment: “From the City Council we prioritize the improvement of the quality of life in our municipality. The recovery of natural spaces is a priority in our agenda, and this assembly is the first step to build together a cleaner and healthier environment”.
The Municipality of Tuineje invites all citizens to participate in this assembly and contribute with their ideas and proposals to move forward together in the recovery of natural areas of the municipality.
