The City Council of Puerto del Rosario, through its Department of the Primary Sector, continues to promote local products with a new action of the program Saborea Puerto del Rosario. On this occasion, the traveling stand will visit the town of Los Estancos, coinciding with the festivities in honor of Santa Rita de Casia.
The event will take place on Thursday, May 15, from 19:00 to 21:00 hours, with a space dedicated to the dissemination and promotion of local food products of the municipality.
An opportunity for neighbors and visitors to learn about the gastronomic richness of Puerto del Rosario, while supporting local producers.
In addition, the afternoon will be enlivened by popular Canarian music with the presence of the most northern parranda with Carmelo Carballo, Fali Benítez and Carlos Cabrera, who will bring the festive and traditional atmosphere to this celebration in Los Estancos.
The last two editions of Saborea Puerto del Rosario were developed with great success in schools in the municipality: the CEIP Pablo Neruda and IES Puerto Cabras, where the initiative was enthusiastically welcomed by the educational community and schoolchildren. These actions have helped to promote knowledge and responsible consumption of local products from an early age.
