The City Council encourages citizens to visit the flea market and support local commerce every Wednesday and Sunday.
The Department of Commerce of the City Council of Pájara highlights the favorable reception of the new location of the Costa Calma flea market, moved this week to the promenade of El Palmeral, after the good participation data recorded.
The councilman of Commerce, Juan José Viera, notes that this change has been adopted to improve the image of the market and offer a more attractive and functional environment. “This new space allows us to improve the general conditions of the flea market, with shaded areas, greater cleanliness and a better distribution of the stalls,” says Viera, who also remarks that this is “an important step to ensure a more comfortable and well-organized experience.”
For his part, the mayor of Pájara, Alejandro Jorge, indicates that this relocation is part of a broader strategy aimed at improving public spaces for trade, with the aim of “boosting the economic activity of the municipality and offer more functional and attractive environments for residents and tourists”.
This new location is presented as an ideal place to host this type of outdoor activities, facilitating the purchase of local products, crafts and a varied commercial offer.
