At noon on Friday, June 6th, Mayor David de Vera, received in the town hall the Councilor for Tourism of the Canary Islands Government, Jessica de León. The meeting was attended by the Councilor of Municipal Works, Urbanism and Planning, Ana María Hernández; the Councilor of Tourism, Rosa Rodríguez; the Councilor of Commerce Tacoremi Gutiérrez and the CEO of Gesprotur, a public company of the Ministry of Tourism of the Canary Islands Government.
In this meeting a follow-up was made on the different works and projects that are scheduled in the municipality of Puerto del Rosario, such as the extension of the promenade to the area of El Charco, actions in the historic center of the capital, rehabilitation of the Plaza de España (known as Plaza de los enamorados), rehabilitation of the mill of La Charca or the roundabout in the street Admiral Lallermand, among other issues.
The mayor, David de Vera, declared that “together with different councils, we are working on various actions for the municipality of Puerto del Rosario, hand in hand with the Ministry of Tourism of the Canary Islands Government, where multiple works of various kinds have been scheduled that will undoubtedly revert in the neighbors of the municipality and those who visit us. A roadmap that aims to meet some objectives of improvement for the municipality.
