The Insular Crafts Fair in Antigua from La Graciosa to Tenerife, a benchmark for sales, public and tradition.

– The final investment of the XXXVI Feria Insular de Artesanía amounts to 300,000 euros of which 70% is financed by the City Council of Antigua.
It is clear to me, says the mayor of Antigua, Matias Peña, that the success of this XXXVI Island Craft Fair with more than 20,000 attendees and a significant level of sales of artisans, to which is added the benefits obtained in services, stores and hotels or the promotion of the municipality and the island in national and international media or social networks, is the result of a team of people involved in its development every hour of every day.
An Insular Crafts Fair with a cost that reaches 300.300,000 euros of which 70% are funded by the City of Antigua that provides technical services from the Secretariat, Legal and Intervention, providing operators for the assembly of stands, tents and prepare rest areas, services or toilets, and adds the mayor, a huge team that adds security and prevention coordinated by the Deputy Chief Inspector of the Local Police of Antigua with the captaincy of the Civil Guard, Fire Fuerteventura, Ambulance, Red Cross and the largest team of night security that we had ever had.
From the cleaning crews to the electrician, none of them I want to leave out, as well as the volunteers of the Colectivo Mafasca, chaired by Nereida Brito, but I especially want to highlight the work of Paqui Jordán and Marga De Vera before and during the Fair.
Of course, the young Councillor for Culture, Jonathan Peña, with clear ideas and firm proposals, as well as the collaboration of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, but especially and with great affection, concludes the mayor, Matias Peña, the participating craftsmen and craftswomen who always show closeness and great quality work.
