The Funeral in Fuerteventura for H.H. Pope Francis is celebrated this Monday in Antigua
– Antigua collaborates with the Archpriesthood of Fuerteventura in the preparations for the organization of the Funeral for His Holiness Pope Francis.
– The Bishop of the Diocese of the Canary Islands, D. José Mazuelos Pérez, will preside the Funeral Mass this Monday, May 5 at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish of Antigua.
The City Council of Antigua collaborates in everything the Diocese of the Canary Islands for the organization of this solemn service, says the mayor, Matias Peña, being an honor to be the Church of Our Lady of Antigua, our humble parish chosen to celebrate the Funeral Mass in Fuerteventura for the eternal rest of His Holiness Pope Francis.
We will collaborate as we have always done, says the mayor of Antigua, with our parish priest Heriberto Martin Molina and the archpriest of Fuerteventura, D. Aday Josué García Jiménez, to welcome and receive the Bishop of the Diocese of the Canary Islands, D. José Mazuelos Pérez, who will preside the Funeral Mass.
The Funeral Mass in Fuerteventura or Eucharist in suffrage for the Roman Pontiff, His Holiness Pope Francis will take place this Monday 5 at 19:00 hours in the Church of Our Lady of La Antigua.
