The cultural centers and the plaza of Antigua offer family evenings of Canarian tradition
– This Thursday, May 22 from 17:00 to 20:00 hours at the Cultural Center of Caleta de Fuste, you can enjoy family gymkhana, traditional games and snacks for attendees.
– On Monday, May 26, Wednesday, May 28 and Thursday, May 29, the plaza of Antigua and the cultural centers of Valles de Ortega and Triquivijate, respectively, offer activities for the whole family.
The City Council of Antigua from the Department of Culture organizes and promotes Tardes de Familia y Tradiciones Canarias, which begins this Thursday, May 22 at the cultural center of Caleta de Fuste, offering from 17:00 to 20:00 hours an intense program of activities aimed at enjoying together with games and traditions of yesteryear, says the councilman of the area, Jonathan Peña.
The cultural program Tardes de familia y Tradiciones Canarias can also be enjoyed on Monday May 26 in the square of Antigua, Wednesday 28 in the cultural center of Valles de Ortega and Thursday 29 in Triquivijate always in the afternoon from 17:00 to 20:00 hours.

Antigua celebrates the Day of the Canary Islands with several events and appointments during the month of May, says the mayor, Matias Peña, being the final climax the Baile de Taifas organized by day, in the Plaza de Antigua on May 30 with folk performances and numerous tables prepared for parranderos groups, families, associations and groups that attend with their cauldrons, sancochos and Canarian dishes.
