The City Council of Puerto del Rosario continues its commitment to improve the equipment and safety of the municipality with the addition of five new motorcycles to the Local Police Force.
There are three motorcycles of 350 displacement, specially designed for urban mobility, and two larger ones, designed to efficiently cover trips in larger areas of the municipality.
During the presentation ceremony, held this morning, the mayor of Puerto del Rosario, David de Vera, stressed the importance of continuing to provide the Local Police with modern resources to strengthen operational capacity and ensure a quick response to any incident.
“With this incorporation we continue to fulfill our commitment to provide our Local Police with the necessary means to offer an effective and close service to citizens. These new motorcycles are another step in the strategy of modernization of the body and the continuous improvement of security in Puerto del Rosario,” said the mayor.
The event was also attended by representatives of the police force, who highlighted the usefulness of these units to improve mobility, especially in urban and difficult to access areas, which will allow a faster response to emergencies and neighborhood needs.
The council reaffirms its intention to continue investing in equipment, training and new technologies to move towards a more efficient security model adapted to the real needs of the municipality.
