The City Council of Puerto del Rosario has resumed the asphalting works of Camino La Placeta in Tetir, an intervention long claimed by the neighbors of the area that represents a clear example of the new management model promoted by the municipal government group.
The action has been able to resume after completing the installation of water supply networks and fiber optic channeling, in coordination with the Cabildo de Fuerteventura and CAAF, and executed through the Department of City Council Services. This previous coordination between administrations and municipal areas guarantees that the asphalting will be carried out on a renewed, modern infrastructure, adapted to current needs.
“This work responds to a very specific neighborhood demand and represents the commitment of this government group with planning, efficiency and teamwork between institutions,” said Mayor David de Vera, who valued “the joint effort of the Cabildo, the CAAF and the various municipal councils so that the work is carried out comprehensively and with guarantees.”
From the Department of Works, the councilor, Ana Hernandez stressed that “the action on Camino La Placeta not only improves access and safety in Tetir, but responds to the new approach of this City Council: no asphalting without first renewing essential services. That is our way of doing things right”.
In the same vein, the councilman of Services, David de León, stressed that “the technical collaboration with CAAF has been key to carry out the renovation of the networks efficiently and quickly, avoiding future breakages or unnecessary interventions on the asphalt”.
For her part, the Councilor for Contracting, María Franco, added that “prior planning and coordination between areas allows us to save time, save resources and provide real answers to citizens’ demands. It is a model that we will continue to apply throughout the municipality”.
The City Council of Puerto del Rosario will continue in this line of work, prioritizing those actions that combine neighborhood response, infrastructure renovation and inter-institutional coordination, thus guaranteeing an efficient and lasting investment in all the towns of the municipality.
