The Local Police of Pájara reports the arrest of two individuals involved in a robbery committed in the town of Costa Calma during the day last Wednesday, May 14.
Thanks to the rapid intervention of the agents, the alleged perpetrators were located and arrested that same day, a few hours after the events took place. The police action allowed the recovery of several stolen items, which are being analyzed as part of the ongoing investigation.
The arrestees were handed over to the Civil Guard, which continues with the relevant proceedings to fully clarify what happened.
The councilman of Security and Emergencies, Raimundo Dacosta, positively evaluates the effectiveness of this police intervention and emphasizes “the commitment of the municipal security forces with the protection of the residents of the municipality”.
The councilor also thanked the public for their cooperation, which “was decisive in identifying the vehicle in which those involved were traveling”, which made it possible to expedite their location and subsequent arrest. This type of cooperation between citizens and security forces is key to maintaining security in the municipality.
