The City Council of Puerto del Rosario, through the Department of Culture, reports that on Tuesday afternoon, May 6, was inaugurated in the House of Culture of Puerto del Rosario, the exhibition “Project Origin. Volcanic environment of our island. An exhibition of paintings by the hand of the students of the Adult Education Center (CEPA) Fuerteventura North.

The Councilman of Culture, Juan Manuel Verdugo, congratulated the students and teachers “for the solidarity initiative of the 19 works exhibited in the municipal facilities, making an invitation to the public to enjoy them”.

The CEPA teacher, Aldaia Argandona, “thanked the students for their involvement with the activity and for being able to carry out this fantastic initiative, along with the commitment of the school’s management team, as the money raised from the sale of these works will be donated to the Spanish Association Against Cancer”.

For the Fuerteventura Against Cancer Association, its president, Isabel Lauricica, thanked “for the affection and solidarity of teachers and students to support the fight against cancer through art and culture.

The exhibition is open from May 6 to May 30.

Exhibition hours : monday to friday from 10 am to 1 pm and 5 pm to 8 pm.
