They may receive grants of up to 15,000 euros, supporting small and medium-format festivals, concerts, scenic, artistic and cultural performances. Also covered are audiovisual and recording projects, as well as conferences, seminars, workshops, courses, fairs, exhibitions and other creative and literary projects. The grants are also aimed at projects that promote cultural diversity, and other activities such as cultural itineraries, training in artistic subjects and projects in digital format.
The Cabildo of Fuerteventura shows its continued commitment to the cultural development of the island, with a call for aid that has been highly demanded by professionals in the cultural sector majorero. The Minister of Culture, Rayco Leon, stressed the importance of aid “to support the professional productive fabric as a tool for the cultural development of Fuerteventura, being a sector that also has an impact on the generation of employment and economic activity on the island”.
