La Concha Beach in El Cotillo hosts this weekend the 19th edition of the Festival Fuerteventura en Música (FEM), to be held on 4 and 5 July. Everything is ready to host the performance of a dozen international, national and local artists. The concerts will begin at 20.00 hours and will be presented by journalist Elisabeth Charlotte, whose freshness and authenticity make her the ideal master of ceremonies for this new edition.
This morning, the president of the Cabildo, Lola García, said that “the FEM is one of the most awaited events of the Majorero cultural agenda, with great roots on the island and which aims to be a meeting point of different cultural and showcase for our local artists, while helping to boost the local economy.
García thanked the coordination with the City Council of La Oliva, “so that the population can enjoy the music and the environment with total guarantee and care for environmental respect”. For his part, the mayor of La Oliva, Isaí Blanco, invited the public to attend a festival that makes El Cotillo “in the artistic epicenter of the Canary Islands and is consolidated in its 19th edition, contributing to the revitalization of the municipality and throughout Fuerteventura.
During the visit to the FEM stage, also present were the Councilor for Culture, Rayco León, the councilor of the area, David Hernández, the artistic director of the FEM, Mario Alonso, as well as the presenter of this edition, Elisabeth Charlotte.
The artists Natalia Doco (Argentina) and the members of G5: Kiko Veneno, Muchachito, El Canijo de Jerez and Diego Ratón, and Tomasito, who encouraged the public to attend this edition of FEM 2025.

On Friday, July 4 will perform Rabiche (8:00 pm), Natalia Doco (9:10 pm), G-5: Kiko Veneno, Muchachito, El Canijo de Jerez and Diego Ratón (Los Delinquentes) and Tomasito (10:40 pm), Calle Mambo (00:40 am) and Lehmanns Brothers (2:20 am).
On Saturday, July 5, it will be the turn of David El Majorero-Contraventura (8 p.m.), Roy Paci & Aretuska (9.20 p.m.), Queen Omega & The Royals Souls (11 p.m.), Baiuca (midnight) and Kraak & Smaak (2:30 a.m.).
During the day will be offered a program of cultural activities that will complement the festival, revitalizing the old and urban center of El Cotillo, along with the Association Cotillo Joven. Luzma Nieves, representing the association and Sergio of the Informal Orchestra invited everyone to enjoy this day program.
