Cabildo de Fuerteventura and Empronor present the campaigns to promote local commerce in the municipality of La Oliva, accompanied by the City Council.
The Cabildo of Fuerteventura and the Business and Professional Trade Association of the North (Empronor) have presented today, July 17, the activities of the commercial revitalization campaign ‘Empronor, your local trade’, financed entirely by the Department of Commerce of the Island Corporation. Thanks to this joint work, the commercial actions ‘Summer Family Day by Empronor’ and ‘Halloween Come and have a scary time’ will be launched, with the collaboration also of the City Council of La Oliva.
The activity ‘Summer Family Day By Empronor’ will take place this Saturday, July 19, in the pedestrian and commercial area of Avenida Nuestra Señora del Carmen. There will be family activities with workshops, inflatable mats and 360 platform, from 11.00 to 14.00 hours and from 17.00 to 21.00 hours.
In addition, Empronor has announced that, after the success of previous editions, Halloween activities will return on October 31. Under the title ‘Halloween Come and Have a Scary Time’, there will be performances, costume contests, shop window decorations and scary passages, among other actions to liven up the commercial area of Corralejo.
The president of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, Lola Garcia, stressed the commitment of the Island Corporation to promote local trade, “which is the livelihood of many families and the basis of economic activity majorera”.
In this sense, Lolina Negrín, island councilor of Commerce, highlighted the support of the Cabildo to the actions of revitalization of local trade promoted by the different associations, “with the joint objective of strengthening the open commercial areas”.
The mayor of La Oliva, Isaí Blanco, and the councilor of Commerce, Alexandra Martín, invited everyone to enjoy this Saturday a family day in Corralejo, in an activity aimed at boosting local trade in the municipality.
For his part, Stefan Schröder, president of EMPRONOR, thanked the Cabildo for the financial support for the development of campaigns to promote local trade, “hoping that attendees can enjoy Corralejo and its open commercial area”.
