This week the fantastic sailboat “Royal Clipper” visited Puerto del Rosario.
Tourists of different nationalities and high purchasing power, visited the capital of Majorca, where they are provided with maps and advice from the Tourist Information Office (OIT) of the city council.
Star Clippers claims it is the largest “true sailing ship” built since the Preussen. She is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest square-rigged sailing vessel in service, with 5202 square meters of sail. Her sails can be handled with a small crew of twenty using motorized controls.
Royal Clipper sails the Mediterranean during the summer. During the winter it offers trips to the Caribbean through the southern part of the Lesser Antilles area.
