On Monday, July 14, we presented a new Light Command and Control Vehicle, state-of-the-art rescue tools, gas detectors, thermal cameras, special fire extinguishers for lithium batteries, identification vests and a live communications system to improve the coordination of all the intervening teams.
All thisnew equipment is autonomous, battery-operated and waterproof, guaranteeing faster and more effective action in any risk situation.
The Mayor, David de Vera, stressed that “the safety of our neighbors is a priority”, and the Councilor for Personnel and Recruitment, Maria Franco, stressed that “we remain committed to providing our teams with the best resources to protect all citizens”.
With this step, Puerto del Rosario makes progress in improving the safety and security of all.
