Procession, Rondallas and popular toast end this Thursday the Triquivijate Festivities.

– Triquivijate celebrates the main day of its patron saint festivities this Thursday, May 15 with the religious function and procession in honor of San Isidro Labrador and Santa María de La Cabeza.

– The popular toast with the rondalla of the Centro de Mayores de Antigua, the Parranda de Juan Peña and the Duo Voces de Antonio y Loly put the finishing touch to the Fiestas de Triquivijate.

This Thursday the patron saint festivities of Triquivijate celebrate their Main Day with the offices and Procession in honor of San Isidro Labrador and Santa Maria de La Cabeza from 19:00 hours, followed by the finale with a Neighborhood Toast in the square of Maca La Maestra, enjoying the performances of the rondalla of the Senior Center of Antigua, the rondalla of Juan Peña and the popular songs of the Duo Voces de Antonio and Loly.

Some Triquivijate festivities organized with the Festival Committee, which I thank for their involvement, says the area councilor of the City Council of Antigua, Pedro Armas, giving the best of themselves to offer a close and family festivities that have been enjoyed without incident, with a program for all tastes and ages.

A patron saint festival, adds the mayor, Matías Peña, adjusted to a budget, the same for each village, which is only increased for the celebration of the Fiestas de Antigua.

Having a budget for the patron saint festivities of the towns does not mean enjoying less, but rather spending the money better and with more criteria for the performances, hiring of equipment, artists and shows, concludes the mayor, Matías Peña.
