The City Council announces that it will continue working to tender the water supply service as soon as possible.
The City Council of Pájara recently received a judicial resolution authorizing it to access the desalination plant located in the town of Costa Calma, in order to gather the necessary information to continue with the bidding process for the water supply service.
However, despite having such authorization, yesterday the municipal technician could not access the facilities due to the refusal of the management group, Fuertcan S.L.
The Government Group regrets this situation, which hinders the evaluation of the current state of the desalination plant and the initiation of the contracting process to adequately size the future contract for the provision of the service. The City Council reiterates that it has always maintained an attitude of dialogue and search for solutions that guarantee the general interest of the citizens.
The Consistory insists on the importance of the collaboration of Fuertcan S.L. to facilitate the access to the infrastructure, with the objective of continuing to improve the essential public services and to guarantee an efficient, safe and adapted water supply to the needs of the residents of Costa Calma.
