From June 4 to 13, the town will host a program full of tradition, music, activities for families and the pilgrimage.
The Department of Festivities of the City Council of Pájara presents the program of events planned for the festivities in honor of San Antonio de Padua 2025, in the village of Toto.
The patron saint festivities will take place from June 4 to 13 with a wide range of activities for the whole population to enjoy. The program will include workshops, tournaments, pilgrimage, Canarian wrestling, cheese tasting, activities for children, and many more events that will ensure fun for all audiences.
The councilman of Festivities, Juan José Viera, highlights the importance of these celebrations for the town and comments that “this year we have worked to offer a dynamic and participatory agenda, where each generation finds its space to share and celebrate”.
He also adds: “We would like to thank the commitment of the festival committee for their dedication, innovative initiatives and constant work, which have been key in the organization of this program”.
The festival program includes outstanding events, such as the traditional pilgrimage, which will take place on Saturday, June 7, starting at 6:00 p.m., departing from the Cortijo de Tetuí. On Thursday, June 12, at 6:00 p.m., there will be a canary stall, accompanied by a folkloric gathering, and on Friday, June 13, at 6:00 p.m., there will be a solemn religious function followed by the procession of St. Anthony of Padua.
The celebrations will officially begin on Wednesday, June 4 with the adornment of the town, filling it with color and tradition.
