More than 250 players participate this Saturday in the IV Tournament Bola Canaria Ayuntamiento de Antigua
– Organized by the Department of Sports with the collaboration of the host team, Los Cacharros, this Saturday, August 2 from 10:00 a.m. until the awards ceremony at 19:00 p.m.
– Fifty teams from Las Palmas, Tenerife, La Palma, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura participate in the IV Bola Canaria Tournament.
– The City Council of Antigua prepares 16 game courts, a shaded area and lunch for the participants, next to the Arena Sport Center in Caleta de Fuste.
The IV Tournament of Bola Canaria Ayuntamiento de Antigua takes strength and body with more than 250 players and fifty teams registered, meeting in Caleta de Fuste this Saturday from 10:00 am until the trophy ceremony from 19:00 pm next to the Arena Sport Center.
The Antigua Town Hall has prepared for this important regional Bola Canaria Tournament, 16 playing fields and a shaded area to rest and have lunch.
The host team and promoter of this Bola Canaria Tournament, Los Cacharros, are a young energetic team that is making its way with magnificent results in the season, especially in the women’s category, says the mayor, Matías Peña, they are a necessary collaborating team to organize this fourth edition.
The secret of the success of this Bola Canaria Tournament organized for the last four years, says the Councilman of Sports, Samuel Torres, is the good atmosphere that exists among the players, who, being very competitive on the court, are a real family during breaks, lunch or during the trophy ceremony.
Everything is already prepared and it only remains to invite the fans of Bola Canaria in the municipality and on the island, to enjoy the tournament and participate as one more of the environment, concludes Councilman Torres.
