Antigua maintains an item of 80,000 euros in its budgets to subsidize operating expenses, social projects or workshops organized in the Municipality by associations and non-profit entities, explains the mayor, Matías Peña, reinforcing with their work the municipal services aimed at public attention, social support, integration and support to communities, families or people in vulnerable situations.
The Municipality of Antigua pays 100% of the grant at once, in order to facilitate the management and implementation of projects to associations and social entities with headquarters or provision of services in the Municipality, covering up to a maximum of 10,000 euros of the expenses listed in the application.
The subsidy is intended to defray the costs of prevention campaigns, training or support in areas of action from health, childhood, women, addictions, senior citizens or social emergency, among other activities developed for the benefit of the residents of the Municipality, prioritizing those projects aimed at families, children and adolescents, especially in situations of risk or social inequality.
