The City Council of La Oliva, through the Department of Sports, which manages Gleiber Carreño, opens the deadline for the third line of subsidies for municipal sports with a total budget of 200,000 euros. Thus, clubs and individual athletes may apply from today, April 24, until May 15 inclusive. This amount is added to the 170,000 euros of the two grants previously launched by the Administration, thus reaching a total of 370,000 euros for the promotion of sport in the municipality.
The mayor of La Oliva, Isaí Blanco, highlights: “We continue with the promotion of sport in our municipality. From the City Council we consider of vital importance to continue betting on our clubs and athletes who work every day to improve individually and continue with the promotion of physical activity inside and outside La Oliva”.
The Councillor for Sports, Gleiber Carreño, says, meanwhile, that: “Through this third line of subsidy we maintain our commitment to local athletes, whether clubs or individual clubs. Our goal will remain the same on which we have been working since the beginning of the legislature, to maintain a firm commitment to the promotion of physical activity and facilitate, in this sense, the daily lives of those neighbors who are dedicated to it.”
