The City Council of Antigua collaborates with the Inclusive Summer Camp organized in Pozo Negro by the Fundación Canaria de Apoyo a los Trastornos del Neurodesarrollo, Funteac, from July 21 to 23.
The Mayor, Matias Peña and the Councilor for Social Services, America Soto, have met with the president of the Foundation, Fabiola Moreno, who has highlighted the support of the City of Antigua, both with annual grants that allow defray costs of activities and maintenance of Funteac and for this Inclusive Summer Camp, giving us the facilities in Pozo Negro and helping with the logistics required for this event.
Collaborating with Funteac is a constant that we maintain in the Municipality of Antigua to all that we propose, says the mayor, Matias Peña, especially this Inclusive Summer Camp that allows many children with special needs, between 4 and 17 years of age, enroll for free for a day of three days with professionals, monitors and tutors with whom to enjoy the beach, excursions and water activities.
Councilwoman Soto Betancor highlights the much needed service provided by associations and social entities in so many areas of direct care in the municipality, recalling the councilor, who remains open the application period for grants from Social Services until June 16, inclusive, with an item of 80,000 euros.
