The City Council of Tuineje informs citizens of the temporary closure of the access to the Avenida de la Constitución from Manuel Velázquez Cabrera street, in the town of Gran Tarajal, due to the improvement and repair of a scupper in the area.
The works have started during the Easter period, with the aim of minimizing the inconvenience to traffic and residents, taking advantage of the lower number of vehicles during these dates. The road is expected to be reopened in the next few days, once the work is completed.
The councilman of Works and Services, Miguel Andújar, explained that “we will proceed to fix a scupper in poor condition, in order to ensure proper drainage and improve the safety of vehicles on public roads. We continue to work to keep our infrastructure in optimal condition.”
For her part, the mayor of Tuineje, Candelaria Umpiérrez, said that “from the City Council we continue working to improve the urban infrastructure of our towns, prioritizing the safety and welfare of our neighbors”.
The Consistory is grateful for the understanding of the citizens and is requested to follow the provisional signaling enabled during the execution of the works.
