The Government of the Canary Islands reinforces technical and professional training in the south of the island, with on-site and blended learning programs aimed at job placement and entrepreneurship.
The Government of the Canary Islands presents a new educational offer of training cycles in the Integrated Center for Vocational Training (CIFP) El Ciervo, in Morro Jable. This new offer reinforces the commitment to technical and vocational training in the south of the island, allowing students to access a quality education, adapted to the demands of the labor market.
The new educational offer will be available from the next academic year (2025/2026), with a training plan designed to provide students with the necessary skills for their labor market insertion, as well as to promote entrepreneurship on the island. The training cycles will be taught in both classroom and blended learning modalities, which will make it easier for students to combine their studies with their working life and other personal responsibilities.
The Councilor for Education, Ángeles Acosta, stresses the importance of having this type of training in the municipality and emphasizes “the need for students to be able to opt for a wide range of studies”. “We are convinced that, with these training cycles, our young people will have access to a quality education that will allow them to develop professionally in sectors with great projection on the island,” she says.
CIFP El Ciervo offers a wide range of training, with cycles in various areas such as Administration and Management, Hospitality and Services, Commerce and Marketing, as well as Physical and Sports Activities, Food Industries and Sociocultural and Community Services. These programs aim to train highly qualified professionals.
