Canary Islands Customs Show this Friday in Caleta de Fuste
Wrestling exhibition of the current and three times Canarian Champions, CL Unión Antigua.
– The performances of the Parranda El Callao, the Agrupación Folklórica de Tetir El Rincón and Cinco en Clave with Timbeque will mark the Canarian rhythm of the Festival.
– Canarian wrestling exhibition, street market, musical performances, show cooking with Francisco El Molinero and typical Canarian tasting from 17:30 hours.
– Caleta de Fuste celebrates the Canary Islands and its customs with traditional games, the Majorero Donkey and Canarian folklore.
This Friday, May 23rd, the Antigua Town Hall from the Department of Tourism organizes in Caleta de Fuste, the Muestra de Costumbres Canarias in the Plaza de El Castillo from 17:30 hours.
Highlights in the program, says the mayor, Matias Peña, the exhibition of Canarian wrestling to be held in Caleta de Fuste, the current and three-time champions of the Canary Islands, the CL Union Antigua, to date, the main representative of our native sport in Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands.

The colorful and extensive program of the Muestra de Costumbres Canarias includes performances of Canarian folklore by the Parranda El Callao, the Agrupación Tetir El Rincón and Cinco en Clave with Timbeque. Music and dance will accompany the show cooking offered by Francisco El Molinero with gofio pellas and sweets of yesteryear, workshops and traditional games for all ages and the sample of the majorero donkey, flat and strong hair.
