The City Council of Puerto del Rosario, through the Department of Housing, informs that the Official Bulletin of Las Palmas, Number 56, of Friday, May 9, 2025, announces the approval of the Regulatory Bases together with Annexes I and II of inscription of “THE SIXTH CALL FOR RENTAL AID SUBSIDIES OF PUERTO DEL ROSARIO” for the year 2025.
The mayor of Puerto del Rosario, David de Vera, said that “in difficult times like the ones we are living, it is essential that the City Council is next to its citizens, providing support and solutions. These rental aids are an important step to alleviate the financial burden of many families in our municipality”.The Councilor for Housing, Toñi Fdez. Aragón, for her part, added that “we understand the difficulties faced by many people to keep up with rent payments, and we want to be a support at this time. These aids are designed to provide significant relief to those who need it most in our municipality.”
The total amount subsidized from the budget for fiscal year 2025, with an initial amount of 176,000 euros, expandable, if necessary, in accordance with the pertinent budgetary availabilities and authorizations.
The maximum monthly amount of the subsidy for the payment of rent receipts shall not exceed 75% of the current monthly rent credited on said receipts, nor an absolute maximum of 125 euros per month. The maximum duration of the subsidy for the payment of rent receipts shall be 6 months.
The payment of the Financial Aid for housing will be made, once the Resolution has been issued and in accordance with what is determined therein, directly in accordance with the provisions of Article 28 of Law 38/2003 (L.G.S) (single payment for the subsidized period of 6 months).
The applications for the Financial Assistance for Rent must be completed in the official form of the general registry of this City Hall and must be submitted within 15 working days from the publication of the same.
The presentation of applications and, where appropriate, the documentation that must accompany them, will be made in any case, through the Registry (in person or telematic) of this City Council, indicating in the concept RENTAL AID 2025, being able to send the registration number to the email enabled for this purpose: ayudasalquiler@puertodelrosario.org
